Our laboratory collaborates with Dr. Michael Duffey, who brings deep expertise in epithelial cell physiology and a long-standing interest in ion transport. His background includes studying rabbit gastrointestinal epithelia in the laboratory of Stanley Shultz, which helped shape his thoughtful approach to studying epithelial transport. Together, we investigate anion transport in airway epithelia, combining our perspectives to better understand how these processes contribute to airway physiology.
