"The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) allows for me to study and participate in research in a laboratory of an American Physiological Society member. During the summer I will explore what it means to participate in research, learn about the scientific process, and explore career options in physiology. At the end, I will have the opportunity to present my summer work at the annual American Physiology Summit."
