Dr. Thornell returned to MDI Biological Laboratory (Mount Desert Island, Maine) this summer to lead interactive renal physiology labs for the Kidney TREKS program. Featured in Internal Medicine Iowa, his sessions helped students explore acid-base balance through hands-on learning.
